fitting sections together is a big problem

Getting the hook ends and holes to line up and stay linked is far too aggravating and takes too much time. They don't seem to be made to fit together simply and efficiently.

Make sure you get help to line up the fencing

It is very difficult to line up the hooks with the receptacles to join fences. Feels kind of cheaply constructed.

Border Fencing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am working on redoing my backyard. This weekend we pull out mulch, the dogs were eating it and I replaced it with rock. I started putting up the roman garden boarder and it looks outstanding. It is the right height the dogs are so small to just over it and it made that side of the yard look so cute. I recommend the boarder, the only thing that is hard it matching up the holes to put the boarder together.

Pay attention to comments on hooks/installation

I was prepared based on other reviewers who were correct...it's almost impossible to hook these sections together, even on flat ground in a straight line. Since I was using this item at the base of an existing fence so that my dog couldn't get her head between the fence slate, I just used a Dremel and cut off the hooks. This allowed me to place the sections next to each other and adjust for placing around the fence posts (set in concrete) and uneven landscape.

Patience is a virtue (for awhile anyway!)

It was better than some of the reviews I read about it. A little difficult to place the two little metal wires into the hole in an adjacent one, but I'm a retiree without someone else's 'Honey Do' list, so it was three hours of a pleasant weekday afternoon spent hooking the 20 pieces together. Looks great.

Impossible to hook together & poor paint.

Looks great. All but impossible to hook the 2 pins into tiny holes for every piece. Paint is bad on most. The doddering on the pins is minimal & never going to last. Some of the pins don’t allow for room to hook them together. After hooking together & placing in ground, they come apart. If you have to move for edging and mowing do not buy. It’s way too much work to put together. Otherwise if you can spend all day on 30 -50 feet ok.
