Sunjoy 10-ft W x 12-ft L x 8-ft H Black Wood Freestanding Pergola

Terrible quality

I love the look of this pergola & couldn’t wait to have it built. Upon opening the boxes to organize everything we noticed pieces were missing. They didn’t fall out, they were not put I. The boxes. Pulling out the metal pieces for the roof, ALL OF THE PIECES WERE BENT! The lips along each side of the panels that would allow a snug fit were flattened! Lowe’s said call the manufacturer, which we did. We had to inventory missing and damaged parts and wait for replacements. In the meantime, the s...

cheap and unorganized

what was sold to me was clearly a used item. I'm missing screws because the packaging was open , the box has water stains and the quality of the wood is cheap and already leaving wood dust all arpund from just shakong it off... 2 - there's 5 boxes and one you find the instructions you see that nothing is in order. you have to dig in between box 2 and box 4 to match the pieces needed to be assembled.. by the way the instructions and tools are in box 4. before i get further into building it i dec...

Bad design, bad constuction

The product was very disappointing. It turned out to be much smaller and shorter than I expected. The measurements weren't 10 x 12. When assembling the roof and rafters, the brackets didn't align properly, making it impossible to screw them into the frame. I had to return it, pay the contractor for the wasted time on assembly, and disassemble the pieces to pack them back in the boxes for return. I would not recommend the product.

Big disappoinment

The pergola had poor design and construction, being smaller than expected and creating a sense of enclosure. Overall, a very disappointing product. The assembly process was smooth until the handyman attempted to assemble the roof. The brackets were positioned incorrectly on the rafters, preventing proper screwing. We contacted Lowe's for a return, which was hassle-free, and they will pick it up tomorrow.

Stylish & Sturdy

We recently added the Sunjoy 10x12 Cedar Gazebo Pergola to our outdoor space, and honestly, it’s been amazing. The cedar wood looks beautiful in person — rich colour, solid build, and it instantly gives the backyard a warm, cozy vibe. The metal hardtop roof is super practical too. It handles rain, snow, and strong sun without any problem, so we can enjoy the space in any weather. The size is perfect for hosting. We’ve used it for weekend BBQs, family dinners, and even just relaxing with a co...

Attractive

The end result is very nice. The assembly has its challenges. The product was packaged very well however I was missing a couple of parts and others were mislabeled which delayed the assembly. Email is the only way to contact the company and the response is slow or none at all. They then ask for receipts and pictures to prove your purchase. I ended up going to Lowe’s and purchasing similar looking mending plates in order to finish. We are happy with the end result but will hold judgement un...

Directions were decent and easy to follow. A lot of the pieces didn't line up with the holes. The metal roof had no screws to secure to the ribs. The side shelves didn't come close to fitting, about 4 inches too proud. I had to cut them to fit or not use them. Disappointed, but usable. Would not recommend.

Best for 7 ft hot tub. 8 ft cover will not fold

Great over hot tub. Will fit 7 ft great. 8 ft tub will fit great, but cover will not lift up without hitting roof crossbeam.

SummerCove 10 ft. x 11 ft. Black Wooden Frame Hot

I can't express how nice this (BBQ Pergola to me) is. My handyman erected it in 8 hrs and both he and I were impressed with the sturdiness, materials and appearance.

I Love it !

Really love this gazebo! We bought it for our new deck, looks perfect!
