Give your patio the presence of a built-in stone fireplace without taking on a permanent masonry project. This SUNJOY outdoor fireplace combines manufactured stone and powder-coated steel in a substantial freestanding design. At 42 in. wide, it creates an impressive backyard focal point while fitting more easily into patios and conversation areas than an extra-wide fireplace system. A functional chimney directs smoke and ash upward, while two locking steel mesh doors help contain flying sparks without blocking the view of the flames. After the fireplace has completely cooled, the removable grate and ash tray provide easier access for cleanup. An included fire poker helps you tend burning logs and coals. Whether you are enjoying a quiet evening or gathering with family and friends, the Canyon turns an ordinary patio into a warm and inviting destination.

Manufactured stone and powder-coated steel give this freestanding fireplace the substantial appearance of a custom-built outdoor feature without permanent masonry construction.
Measuring 42 inches wide and weighing approximately 319.67 lbs, this fireplace creates an impressive backyard focal point without requiring an extra-wide patio layout.
The functional chimney channels smoke and ash upward instead of allowing them to drift directly around the fire, helping create a more comfortable gathering area than an open fire pit.
Two locking steel mesh doors maintain a clear view of the fire while helping contain flying sparks and embers; The doors open for convenient access when tending logs.
The fire grate and ash tray can be removed after the fireplace has completely cooled, providing convenient access to ash and debris; A fire poker is included; Overall size: 41.93 W x 24.02 D x 48.03 inch H

Completely rusted out of the box

Would Not Recommend

Terrible product. Poor quality materials! The box was in perfect condition with no water damage but all the metal components inside are rusted out. I mean every single one, every facet of every piece! It's all assembled and pieces of the fake stone fascia that were attached to the metal frame have fallen off due to the rust. How are we going to return this rust bucket to Lowes?

RECOMMENDATION

Would Recommend

We have owned ours for 15 years and are now considering replacing it with the same as we originally purchased. Mind you we live in the norther US with winter temps below zero and a good amount of snow, and frequent rain in the spring and fall. The firebox began rotting after 5 years, due a good amount of usage and robust fires. Due to moisture and freeze thaw the faux stone began falling off approximately 10 years. I think we paid about $700 15 years ago. All in all it is a good choice and h...

Love this fireplace!!

Would Recommend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had an awkward and empty portion of our patio space that was in need of a makeover. We wanted to make the space a cozy fireplace nook area and this fireplace was the PERFECT addition to make the space come to life. It’s beautiful and the quality is fantastic. The only downside (if you want to call it that) is that this product is that it is very heavy. Definitely would suggest having a few helping hands around to get it in place! The assembl...

Came Broken

Would Not Recommend

When I ordered this item, I assumed it would be coming from Lowe's, I WAS WRONG! It came from Mexico via Estes Freight. It took over two weeks to arrive because rather than shipping it to Montana like they were supposed to, they shipped it to Arizona. Then when I called to question it, they said it was a mistake and it would go back to California before heading to Montana. That it did. Back to Calexico CA, then to La Marinda, CA then to Fresno CA, Then to Sacramento CA, then to Salt Lake City UT...

Perfect addition to our new patio space

Would Recommend

When creating a new outdoor space on our side patio, I really wanted to include a wood-burning outdoor fireplace—not a fire pit or a chiminea, but also not something that I had to build from scratch. This Sunjoy fireplace fit all my needs. I also like that the super-sturdy construction includes hinged, latching doors. The size was even perfect for our space. It was simple and quick to put together (very heavy, but that's a good thing), so we had a fire going in no time. I do wish there was an op...
