Sun Joe 12-in Corded Electric 9 Amp Chainsaw

Excellent Quality

I have a Sunjoe mower that has worked without flaw for perhaps 8+ years. My experience with that product led me to buy their electric chain saw. I am very happy with it. I had 6 trees of about 20' in height that needed to be removed. It is not as fast as a gas model. I wanted a unit that could be used and then packed for storage. The price for this electric chain saw was far less than a gas unit. It does not require maintenance other than common sense cleaning before storage.

There were a bunch of overgrown crepe myrtles and larger trees that needed trimming, and a pile of large branches left in the backyard that needed to be cut down. This was the perfect tool for the job. It was easy enough for me to use by myself (I’m a grandma) and took care of everything we needed done. Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This saw is easy to use. It is lighweight and very easy to maneuver. Used it to trim a couple bushes and small trees. The saw cut through everything with no problems. Chain was very sharp amd seemed to keeps it edge.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to use right out of the box, a perfect addition to my messy workshop as seen in the pictures. Can just plug in and use for a quick cut. The cord itself is rather short but with a good quality extention cord it makes it come in handy having an electric chainsaw versus having to worry about gas and such. Cuts smoothly, chain doesn't fall off and is lightweight enough to be held up for periods of time if trimming tree limbs.

I love that it’s electric and I don’t have to worry about getting gas. This will definitely come in handy when it’s cold again to cut firewood.

I would be a little sceptical about using this on anything too huge, as itd probably take a while, if it did cut through! But, it cuts nice and does its job. It can be a pain that this is an electric chain saw, because you can be so restricted, but as long as you have a good length cord, you're good to go!
