The fiber is converted to yarn and then used to make these versatile doormats. The backing for this mat is made of natural latex harvested from rubber trees grown in managed plantations. After making the plain mat, the design is hand-stenciled by craftsmen. The naturally resilient coir mat scrapes mud, sand, water and dirt off shoes and the natural latex backing is slip resistant and durable.
