Paper thin laminate layer (literally)
I would not use this junk in any application, especially not a kitchen. The laminate layer is so thin you can't even see it, every piece at the store is scratched or dented. What possessed this company to make such a useless product instead of increasing the price by a few bucks and use a normal thickness laminate? Countertop is NOT durable enough for kitchen use!
Within the 1st three weeks we have had 3 areas on the edge of this counter that have been very easily damaged by regular kitchen use. I foresee many more instances where this will be damaged and we are working on a solution because at this point, it is way to costly to replace it.
