Poor design
This water heater only kicks on when the flow rate hits a minimum amount. I have a faucet with the low flow aerator, and usually the water heater won't come on.

Electrical wiring and panel cover
Easy setup except for the electrical wiring which should be made clear that there are no neutral wires, but that doesn’t really matter to an electrician. The panel is awkwardly setup that the screws are hinges. I needed to bend the panel for the screws to properly work as hinges.

Endless Hot Water
I ordered my Tempra 24 from Lowes.com and it arrived about a week later. I was surprised by the compact design and grateful for the nearly 20 cubic feet of storage I gained back in my garage where the old tank water heater was. The unit was easy to install and plumb, but I didn't read the specifications carefully and didn't realize it requires TWO separate 50a breakers. I was able to run a 2nd breaker to the hot water heater location and it immediately turned on. Very happy with the unit itself....

Big mistake
I purchased this product because it was recommended by a friend. After installation it worked wonderfully. Now a short time later the heating element shorted out, Stiebel refuses to replace it even though it was supposed to be warranted. A product is only as good as the company behind it. I do recommend you buy this brand.
