I saw reports of the item being damaged when delivered. I experienced the same, cracks and holes were noticed. Not something I can recommend for use in the shower.
My contractor said this was very sturdy and good quality. However since the tub and shower head were installed first they seem off center since the wall corners curve in so much. I love the shelves size.

Because everything is poorly packaged, be prepared to open the boxes and check the item carefully for cracks BEFORE buying, this will save a headache trip back to the store
