Use the Sta-Green® Small Broadcast Spreader to apply weed, seed, fertilizer, salt, and ice melt products (refer to product labels before using). This spreader comes pre-calibrated and ready-to-use, and holds up to 5,000 sq. ft. of product. Using the Sta-Green® Small Broadcast Spreader is simple. To begin, turn rate control dial to the correct setting listed on the back of the product you are using, pour the product in the hopper, then start spreading. The spreader features a curved hopper and dual-bladed agitator for smooth product funneling and consistent coverage. Not to mention, it is compact and features a fold-down handle for easy storage. Spreaders provide uniform coverage of granular products; without one, you may end up with uneven coverage of fertilizer or control products that can result in uneven feeding, weed, disease, or insect control. This spreader can also be used to distribute salt on walkways and driveways.

Kinda Cheap, not what I expected.

Would Not Recommend

Purchased this spreader to spread triazicide granules. Unit works as intended but the open/close mechanism does not close all the way causing it to leave a solid trail of granules where you don’t intend to. Poor broadcast spreading ability. I would get another brand of better quality. Solid construction, easy to assemble, and the dial setting is a nice feature so 3 stars.

Delivered used item

Would Not Recommend

The item is ok, not the best quality, but the worst thing is that it was delivered dirty, partially functional and in rough shape.

Came dirty or used

Would Not Recommend

Picked this up curbside, when I got home it was dirty and had loose dirt / gravel / etc in it. Looks like it might have been a rental or used and returned and they sold it “new” and also neglected to do even a basic cleaning / spray down with water before selling to a customer.
