Performing equally well in full sun or partial shade, this vibrant azalea lights up your garden with fiery orange blooms in early spring, before the leaves have emerged. The eye-catching effect of its early flowers is especially effective when planted at the edge of a woodland border, so that its color lights up a darker area. Mandarin Lights is generally easy to care for, but will not tolerate prolonged periods of drought. Once established, it will display its magical color show without fail. This is a deciduous azalea variety, so it will not keep its leaves through the winter.
