Apply wood sealer to the top, bottom, and all edges of raw wood within 48 hours of removing from packaging – if you're not ready to seal, rewrap the wood in plastic to protect it until application

Can be cut for use with a sink - be sure to carefully seal all surfaces and edges from moisture

We used this as the top of a shelf unit for a room divider. The quality of the wood is really nice. Have seen some recommendations of using Fruitwood (241) to stain the cut portions, but we used Early American (230, because that was available) with a 5 minute set time, and it matches perfectly.

Broke in half
I have purchased the 6 and 8 foot lengths for projects with no issues. This one broke in half after I opened the box. I did not open it to three months late well past the return date. The whole reason is to have a level surface instead of glueing up two 12 inch pieces..

Beautiful Acacia Wood, Easy to Apply Finish
This Acacia wood countertop goes absolutely beautiful with our new cabinets. Although Acacia is a soft wood we applied a finish (suggested by Lowe's expert and supported by our independent installer) that adds protection to the wood. I just can't believe how the different shades of the wood pop now that we have applied a couple of finish coats. I highly recommend this as a finished countertop, it is fairly inexpensive and really compliments our kitchen.

Very different pieces. Recommend with CAUTION
I ordered a 10 ft piece and a 6 ft to make shelves around my fireplace. The 10ft piece is beautiful, with light and dark variations. The 6ft piece is not ugly, but looks completely different than the other piece.l, a darker stain and less variation. I already waited two weeks for delivery, and project must proceed. For the bookshelves, the difference will not be so critical, but if these two pieces were for countertop joined or bear each other, I would have to return the 6 ft piece and hope...

Beautiful wood but color dark
This was delivered without issue. Wood is beautiful. Lovely markings. Only drawback is it's much darker than in Lowe's website pictures. Luckily it matches my floor tile.
