Solid Floating Shelf Material
The wood matched the description and pictures for color closely. Packaging was sturdy with the unfinished wood being sealed in plastic and having corner supports. Edges are sharp and will need sanding. Made for a great pair of custom length floating shelves.

Quality Item, Bad Shipping Experience
Good quality shelving, my only complaint about the shelving was that the manufacturer/packager put some sticky material around the corners for protection, and it was very difficult to remove. As far as the shipping goes, FedEx did a terrible job, the boxes arrived, tattered, and beaten up. Fortunately, the manufacturer/packager put sufficient protection around the product itself, but the outside boxes were pretty badly beaten.

Ok shelves shipping prep needs work
Shelves are as expected at this price point. Shelf edges were wrapped in some thick cardboard to help protect during shipping but still managed to show up dented. The ends had the same cardboard with some super sticky black foam tape that was embedded/mashed/hammered into the end grain of the wood. Had to sand it off to get rid of it, so expect some significant prep work before you can use these shelves. Perfect for floating shelves
The multiple colors are beautiful. We shortened the boards to make floating shelves, they were the perfect thickness. Applying a coat of urethane enriched the colors, they are just what we wanted.
