This product is designed to be a ridged water pipe. It was threaded on both ends, which I did not care about. I was going to use this to replace a weather station mounted to the gable end of a barn style shed. The old station used a larger diameter pole thus it was not going to work for the new station. This pipe ended up being a perfect diameter for the weather station mount.
