Junk Hardware

The hardware supplied by Sorara is pot metal. The screws that pint the drip plate to the louver will break and strip. Not critical but they should be replaced with #8 pan head steel screws. The others are very important. One set of screws attaches the anchor plate to the post. these screws are very soft metal and the plate is what connects the pergola to the base/foundation. Amazing for price, beware louver screws are soft!

Really awesome pergola. It's light but sturdy and works very smoothly so far. I've used it every day since we got it. It arrived way ahead of schedule, but one of the top edges of one of the posts arrived bent, though we were able to straighten it on our own and link it up with the cross beams with little effort. Everyone that sees it wants one for their yard

It looks amazing, especially for the price point. If you buy a 10x13 it will not fit in a standard f150 truck. I had to rent a uhaul to pick it up. It came on a solid wood pallet with 3 long boxes bound to it. Took 5 hours for my son and myself to build. Picture directions are horrible. Sorara Mirador Pergola

Some of the pergola’s louver screws are so soft that the screw "heads" shear off the screws when using a handheld screw driver. The screws are not extractable because they're so small and soft. This happened to 3-4 different louvers and it renders the louvers ineffective/loose and unusable. Manufacturer needs to re-engineer these parts so customers don't have to wait for replacement parts before finishing the installation. Lowe’s had trouble reaching their own vendor (Sorara). Beautiful Patio Cover

This cover is a welcome addition to our outdoor space. It was a little pricy but so worth the money as it extended out living space tremendously. Lowe's installer did a fantastic job. I hope to have may years of enjoyment with this purchase.

Height is incorrect

The manufacturer and installation guide indicates the unit is 98.7" tall. Lowe's dimensions in the title are nonsense. The unit is not 12ft 2ft long, nor is it 104" tall. It is 10ft wide. When fully assembled and the eaves are up, it is 101.7" tall. This is important if partially installed under the eave of a home. It may not fit. This is the 111S model

Pretty bummed that I'm finding out the hard way this is not the same model as Costco is selling (111DA). The 111S does not have the dual layer aluminum slats so hopefully the steel doesn't act as a heat radiator in the sun. Someone needs to update Lowes site to add the model to avoid confusion for others!

Do not buy to keep your furniture or guests out of the rain, they will get soaked! We purchased this as an addition to our back yard incase we had a rainy day and wanted to take cover, well we had one and we were embarrassed when all our guests had to RUN inside due to getting soaked. Our beautiful new furniture is drenched and so is everything inside- the louvered roof is shut all the way which has caused huge disappointment. Other than that it’s a beautifully made pergola!

I considered this pergola for over three weeks, read many reviews, etc and so glad we bought it!!! Outstanding construction and quality. Happens to fit our deck like it was custom made and looks so professional against the back of our white house.
