Excellent Product
This product connected to my Sony tv with no problems. Whenever I turn it on, it automatically connects to the television and the sound is great. I can adjust the sound with either the remote or on thew device itself.

Great sound; using two speakers is not practical
Bought two to use for myself and spouse to use watching our Bravia TV. Separately connected, the sound is great however there is a slight lag between the picture and the sound - it is enough to be noticeable. Using two speakers is not practical. Only one is connected to the TV and the other must be paired separately with the connected speaker. BUY THIS INSTEAD OF THE BRAVIA U WHILE YOU CAN
Significantly better sound in both dynamic range AND sheer volume available than the "Bravia Theatre U", their 2ND and lesser attempt at this technology. Honestly BUY THIS INSTEAD unles the bendy neck in the "U" is all-important to you. In comparison, I wish I'd never bought the Sony Bravia Theatre U. There's still room for improvement but the SRS-NS7 is great.

Disappointed in battery life!
Battery doesn’t last 12hrs like described. If I use the product on 40%volume or more, it only gives me 6hrs of life. The most I have gotten out of this product has been 9 hours at 20% volume.

Thought it was a gimmick
This was perfect to be able to enjoy surround sound with kids asleep. At first i thought it woild be a gimmick but i was very wrong. Big fan and would recommend it to anyone that needs to stay quiet but loves movies

We use this in conjunction with our tv speakers. My wife has hearing issues and these allow her to hear the tv without me losing my hearing or sanity. Love them.

I bought this as speaker for my gaming setup, as the monitor I use doesn’t have speakers. Granted, I had low expectations and planned on returning them if unsatisfied.
