Good product but can't get a new blade

I love this product. It does exactly what i need it to do. The reason for only three stars is that I've been trying to get a new auger blade for about 3 years now. I keep getting put on a mailing list for when they're back in stock. If you're still selling new ones, how do you not have any? Mine has a chip out of it. What do I doe when it becomes unusable? I see replacements for every other size except the 10" one that I need.

Save your money buy something else

I purchased this shovel one year ago and I have used it only 5 times. I only used it for my deck. I plugged it in this season and it ran for 1 second then shut down. Now, Snow Joe will not honor the warranty because I am unable to produce the original receipt, from one year ago. The credit card I used to purchase the shovel I do not use and have closed, so I am unable to locate a reprint of the receipt. This product is a total piece of crap and I would not recommend it to anyone.

Pleasantly Surprised

I had a corded electronic snow blower (15 inch) and it died after three winters and not many times of use. I was thinking not to buy another product, just to shovel by hand or to hire others to help. Then there was a Snow Joe corded snow blower which was 18 inch (I forget). When it arrived, I found the design did not fit me even though I adjusted every knob and screw. I sent it back eventually. Missing some design points.

I like the product but it is missing two thing I find very important. The first is a speed control. I'd like to be able to control how far the snow is being thrown. Now it full speed ahead or nothing. Also I'd like a battery cover since moisture and electrical connections don't mix well. My first battery shorted, maybe due to moisture, and Customer Service was great to replace it very quickly.

Good for certain conditons, but keep it warm

If you have a long path beside a wall and you want to shoot the snow to the side, it doesn't work well. The snow only goes straight in front. Snow more than a few inches will clog the unit so you need to go excruciatingly slow in deeper or heavy snow. The impeller is plastic and will shatter if left out in extreme cold. If kept in a warm garage it works fine, but I left it outside overnight and it got to negative numbers. That morning I tried using it and the impeller shattered. Maybe that...

First I am a small petite woman of 63. I' have had two snowblowers in the past. They start once or twice and then never again. They hard to push and my back always aches after. worked great till defect allowed it to split open

have been trying to get replacement auge as mine split in the middle! can't find replacement parts for the little guy all parts for larger auger.no pics all disassembled ready for new part! please advise finding parts

I wish we had another Battery

The shovel is easy to use, but has many disappointments. In snow over 2" inches it did not perform well. i set it up against the house and it fell down, when I got to it the battery case was split in half and the battery pack was on the ground. Couldn't fix it and now the snow shovel won't work. We had only had the shovel since December 2022 ( we received it as a gift) now we can't use it at all.

For people with some type of issue. Get This!

I have severe bring and standing issues. I love this little gadget. It works! Don't expect it to move mountains all at once but it will if you shave it down. I worked on a little drift taller then the Snow joe, I just started at the side and only did 3-4 inches at a time. No problem. I would be out using it if I didn't need to catch my breath. I wish I could have gotten a larger one but its better then nothing. Ive been raving to everyone. I know of 2 people who went to but it & it was sold out....

A SOLID, POWERFUL TOOL - THIS IS NO TOY !!!

I ordered 2, one for my son, for Christmas, and one for myself, since the price was so reasonable. I gave my son his shovel early because we were expecting 6"+ of snow before Christmas, and we got it. I used mine to work my way from the front door to my "real" snow thrower, and I was AMAZED at the power and throwing distance of this cordless shovel - no exaggeration! My son lives 18 miles north of us and got 2" - 3" more snow than us and HE was amazed as well. I'm do not normally leave reviews, ...
