As heavy as a shovel of wet snow! Safety overdone

The weight is like hauling a full manual snow shovel of wet heavy snow. The stupid safety button has to be held continuously while holding the trigger. Well I can tell you, it doesnt keep powering but peters out every few seconds. What are you afraid a foot will get caught in the plastic blade? I used it 3 times total. Once a year ago to do the deck, recently a cement front porch and attempt at the driveway path. Bollucks its not worth it!! Drive over your snow, get a plow guy/girl or shovel ma...

Good product but can't get a new blade

I love this product. It does exactly what i need it to do. The reason for only three stars is that I've been trying to get a new auger blade for about 3 years now. I keep getting put on a mailing list for when they're back in stock. If you're still selling new ones, how do you not have any? Mine has a chip out of it. What do I doe when it becomes unusable? I see replacements for every other size except the 10" one that I need.

worked great till defect allowed it to split open

have been trying to get replacement auge as mine split in the middle! can't find replacement parts for the little guy all parts for larger auger.no pics all disassembled ready for new part! please advise finding parts

Save your money buy something else

I purchased this shovel one year ago and I have used it only 5 times. I only used it for my deck. I plugged it in this season and it ran for 1 second then shut down. Now, Snow Joe will not honor the warranty because I am unable to produce the original receipt, from one year ago. The credit card I used to purchase the shovel I do not use and have closed, so I am unable to locate a reprint of the receipt. This product is a total piece of crap and I would not recommend it to anyone.

Missing some design points.

I like the product but it is missing two thing I find very important. The first is a speed control. I'd like to be able to control how far the snow is being thrown. Now it full speed ahead or nothing. Also I'd like a battery cover since moisture and electrical connections don't mix well. My first battery shorted, maybe due to moisture, and Customer Service was great to replace it very quickly.

Using the Snow Joe

This machine may work on a small deck with an inch or two of light snow, but fails miserably any where else. This is a waste of your money. I also have their electric power washer that works very well.

Not happy

First time I used it, it cuts out in 4 inches of light snow. It that how it’s supposed to work? If so I am not happy. What a waste

Doesn't work

Bought this last year and just tried to use it for the first time and it doesn't work. It turns on and the blade spins but as soon as you try to actually move snow with it the blade stops. Doesn't have anywhere near enough power to actually work .

Dead

Lasted exactly one use. Freshly charged battery. No go for second use.

I wish we had another Battery

The shovel is easy to use, but has many disappointments. In snow over 2" inches it did not perform well. i set it up against the house and it fell down, when I got to it the battery case was split in half and the battery pack was on the ground. Couldn't fix it and now the snow shovel won't work. We had only had the shovel since December 2022 ( we received it as a gift) now we can't use it at all.
