What Customers Are Saying
The Super Sour Anti Chew Spray had mixed results in deterring dogs from chewing. Some customers found it effective at stopping chewing on furniture and other items, while others reported their dogs seemed to enjoy the taste and continued chewing. The spray required frequent reapplication to maintain any deterrent effect, and some users found it ineffective. There were also safety concerns, with one reviewer reporting it caused vomiting and an unpleasant taste. The product's effectiveness appears inconsistent, and it may not be a reliable solution for all dogs.
Customer review summary generated by AI, including incentivized reviews. The super sour! anti-chew spray seems useful but does not do the job. I expected three hours after spraying, my dog goes right back to lickingthe spot that I sprayed.

Works great on the pup that chews constantly
Non Staining - so far I tested it. Its almost like a cros between sour apple and persimmon At any rate it takes one taste for that pup to go find his chew toy

Disappointed
I bought this with hope of keeping our puppy fro chewing everything. He love the taste, therefore he chews more now than he did before. I’ve tried discipline and applying this often still doesn’t work.

I need to get this stuff off my dog and I!!
How do I get the flavor out of my mouth and off my hands? I put it on my rings and dog's hot spots but he rubbed it on me and despite washing my hands I can't get it off!!! This stuff tastes really gross! It won't go away!! I've tried Listerine, and now I'm afraid to touch my dog for I think he might still be covered in the stuff and it only just started to fade from my skin an hour or so ago. I'm a chef!! I taste food, Skout's honor is not the ingredient I want to have on my list. How do I get ...

Don’t waste your money
My dogs both like the taste. Since I put it on things I did not want chewed up, they were actually attracted to what ever I sprayed. Chewed up more of the chairs and countless wires/cables. What a waste.

My pet doesn't find Super Sour distasteful
My pet seems to actually like super sour Anti Chew spray. It didn't stop her from chewing on things at all! I've got more than 1/2 bottle left what do I do with the remaining amount. Can I pour it down the drain???

Did not work
I really thought it would work and i sprayed it on every thing we have in the house from plastic flowers to power cords. Both my kittens kept doing what they did before which was biting on everything after I already sprayed down. Like the taste did not bother or smell of it for them did not bother them. But I could smell it and taste after I sprayed areas down and like it was defiantly a bitter taste. Also, I have nothing else to use to direct them somewhere else so have been using unfortunately...

Didn’t work — May increase licking
Our dog had a hot spot on his paw that he wouldn’t stop licking. I got desperate trying to find something to stop him. You are not supposed to cover hot spots, because they need air to heal. We bought this spray and applied it thoroughly (2 layers) after applying the vet’s ointment. It seemed to INCREASE his licking. After 2 nights, I tried skipping the spray. He hasn’t licked it more than once, and it’s healing.I figure he licked it because it bothered his paw (maybe made it hurt or burn more) ...

Reapply frequently
The spray kind of works on my dogs paws. I have to spray multiple times during the day, usually 5 times between 7am and 10pm to stop her paw licking. I've had it 2 weeks and it's more than half gone.
