Shipping Details

Simpson Strong-Tie hurricane ties are designed to resist high winds and seismic forces by positively connecting trusses or rafters to the top of a wall. The Outdoor Accents H1APC is designed for nominal 2x lumber. With its U-shaped design, the H1APC installs faster than a pair of single-sided ties. Embossments add stiffness in crucial areas for improved performance. ZMAX galvanized steel with a black powder-coat finish provides superior corrosion resistance.

Connects a nominal 2x truss or rafter to a wall or beam
Helps resist wind and seismic forces
Can be installed on the inside or the outside of a wall, or on both sides
Provides faster installation than using two single-sided ties
Can be installed with flanges facing either inward or outward
Installs with color-matched Outdoor Accents connector screws (fasteners sold separately)
Made from 18-gauge steel
ZMAX galvanized for corrosion resistance with a stylish black powder-coat finish for added beauty
Installs with (8) #9 x 1-1/2-in Outdoor Accents Connector screws (SD9112DBB), or with the Outdoor Accents Wafer-Head Connector screw (SD9112WDBB) as an alternative (fasteners sold separately)
