Great brackets.

I liked the brackets. However, 2 different boxes must have been grouped together, so some were placement on a different side. So we bought 14 brackets. 3 of them were on a different side for placement. I am not picky but something to keep in mind for those that are. Also, you have to use smaller screws because the holes are smaller.

Poorly packed, unequal left/right pairs

The product itself is theoretically fine, but Lowe's packing was simply awful. 1.) They did not pay attention to packing left/right pairs, so I received only about 60% of the usable number of rafter ties I needed. 2.) The ties were just dumped into a box full of dunnage air bags. As any reasonable person would imagine, during transit all the bags were punctured. The box arrived with the ties all loose and clattering around in the mostly empty box. They were deeply scratched up, I can only hope...
