Base engineering flaw
There is an engineering flaw on the bottom umbrella arm where it connects to the swivel base. To be To be exact, the bottom hole that receives a screw to fasten the bottom umbrella arm to the swivel base is too low. The head of the screw comes in contact with the collar of the swivel base and is not able to be screwed in. There are two fixes for this, possibly three. 1, Grind down or file down the head of the screw, so it can pass above the collar on the base. 2, Grind down the collar on the...

Execllent Coverage Choice for Our Patio
We were introduced to the smaller 10' SimplyShade Patio Umbrella when we purchased a Florida home last year. Love it. So, when we learned about this larger 12.5' Red Patio Umbrella we were all over it — and bought one last May. It was easy to assemble ( a little tricky filling the base units with sand) and we've gotten a lot of guest compliments and enjoyment out of it since it's been set up on our stone patio. Highly recommend.

Missing the base required to attach the base to the umbrella and bolts. Also the company would not send anyone to pick this up. It was delivered to my house so I felt like Lowe's should of came to my house to pick up the umbrella since it was not useable. I tried to order parts for it. I received an e-mail telling me the parts are no longer available.
