Best built cabinets for your money

We are a high end customer builder. This is the 3rd house we've built with Shenandoah cabinets. The quality, finishes and hardware is superior to the much more expensive cabinet company we used to use. Ron has been our designer on all 3 kitchens. He has decades of experience and it shows. We highly recommend Shenandoah cabinets. Whether painted or stained the result is a beautiful, functional kitchen you will enjoy for years.

Cabinets look nice, and the price point is alright. The top of every door has paint that's peeled away where the wood connects. They are a year old.

I bought these cabinets for my remodeled kitchen. Your friends will compliment you on how nice your cabinets look. They are made out of quality materials. But when you actually install them and use them issues will arise. The assembly of the cabinets is very sloppy. Nothing lines up. The corner diagonal cabinet was the worst. It was not square in any direction. Took a lot of shimming to get it somewhat in place. The bottom shelf of one of the base cabinets was out of level by over 1/8" ...

Nothing good to say

I upgraded to plywood sides, guess what. The outside of the plywood is MDF. if I wanted that, that's how'd I would have ordered that. Paint is just shy of a 5 year old doing it. Portions are not painted or runs in the finish. Chip's and dings on outside finishes. For what I paid for the crap I should have a lot better product.

Super Cabinet Sample!

I ordered a sample cabinet door to have to help pick out other items for my house. I was very impressed with how the door was packaged. It was protected with foam and a covering but was also in a Shenandoah bag with a catalog. It was just nice to see that they cared enough about their product to make a great presentation. The cabinet sample itself was also very nicely done and high quality.

Poor Quality and Terrible Customer Service

I placed an order for 7 cabinets on 5/14 and the order was completed on 9/1. The cabinets arrived at my house originally with a dozen flaws from poor craftsmanship and screws that are too short for the glides provided. Four complete replacements later, I have an acceptable set now, but I spent probably 40-50 hours of my life dealing with Shenandoah customer service and had to plead and beg for a local rep to be sent to my house for me to explain these defects. Damaged and unpainted

Several came cracked and damaged, which Lowe's is in the process of replacing. But most also came not fully painted so the seams show a bit or completely. Lowe's said that's "standard" so there's nothing we can do. If I had known that was standard, I would have chosen something else. It's on both the outside of the cabinet doors and inside the drawers. Overall not a great product, and I couldn't recommend it.
