SharkBite Max 1/2-in Push-to-connect Brass Ball Valve

SharkBite Max push-to-connect ball valves are the fastest and easiest way to install a new or replacement water shut-off valve. A newly designed stainless steel collet retainer delivers additional strength and durability and provides a 400 psi pressure rating. SharkBite Max fittings and valves do not require a PEX tube liner and a re-engineered body allows you to insert the pipe using less force and greater ease. The single lever quarter turn handle allows for quick control over water flow, especially in tight spaces. No soldering, clamps, unions, glue or special tools required. After inserting the pipe, stainless steel teeth bite down and grip the pipe tightly while a specially formulated O-ring compresses around the pipe to create a watertight seal. The valve can be rotated after installation for quick adjustments and removing the valve is just as fast with a disconnect tool, allowing them to be changed or reused.
