Poor design.
The knob winds up being to close to the wall, and hard to turn without mashing fingers and getting a good grip.
Quality Product
Quality product. The one drawback is the constricted design. Once installed, there is little space between the flanged connection and the valve handle making it difficult to open/close without knocking ones knuckles.
Solid hose bibb that installs easily
I used this SharkBite PEX barb hose bibb to replace an old outdoor spigot, and the installation was quick and leak-free. The brass feels heavy-duty and well-made, and the multi-turn handle gives great control over water flow. I connected it to 1/2-inch PEX with a crimp ring, and it sealed perfectly on the first try. It’s been through a few temperature changes already and hasn’t dripped once. Definitely worth the money for a reliable outdoor fixture.
