Tried Scotts on my lawn

Scott's has been producing / selling fertilizers for as long as I can remember. The sale in July gave me an opportunity to try out Scotts on my lawn. I applied it when it arrived. By mid-July, after the application, my lawn is noticeably greener. I am very happy with Scott's !

Bermuda turf greened up nicely and is staying green in this 90+ deg. heat.I like the small prill size fertilizer.Very easy to spread and no clumps.

I moved into a new construction home in July 2019. The builder had laid sod and it was all I could do to water it constantly to ensure it wouldn’t die in the July/August heat. Switch in bag size- more for less.

I ordered this 42.87 lb bag in Feb 24 online no issues with pickup. I ordered the same (mar 24) bag but was delivered the 38lb bag- I returned thinking just an honest mistake.. I then again, the 42 lb bag online, went to pick it up and it was the 38lb bag. Issue was the item number was the same for both bags. The 38 lb bag should have had a different item number. So in the end I paid the same price for the 38lb lb bag as the 42lb bag. I guess deflation is hitting even this!

Good Product

I buy this product every year. It kills the moss and the fertilizer speeds up the grass growing so hardly needs any raking of moss as the grass takes over.

Long time Scott’s user

I’ve used Scott’s products for 20 years now, ever since I built my 1st home in 2003 and grew my lawn from seed. I tried one year (2012) to go with a “cheaper” brand…a organic product, and I ended up with weeds everywhere! I had read many reviews on this product before purchasing. Most reviews that stated it worked advised to apply to the correct type of grass, on the right kind of day, at the right time of the year. Most negative reviews were vague and said “it didn’t work” or “it killed my lawn”. My guess is those people did not follow the directions. I’ll keep this short and sweet. I applied this on a Monday. Last Friday I put this product down according to directions, even using a Scott's spreader. Dismay! It didn't rain like the forecasters said. Great Purchase

I was very worried about buying this product because of some reviews saying that the product didn't work as describe. Well lets start by saying, it worked great for me.
