Did not work

This product did nothing for my grass. I’ve been using this for the last 7 years to overseed my yard. I always ended up with a nice thick yard of grass. This year, nothing. It’s like I never put anything down. I think that Scott’s has changed the ingredients used.

No grass yet, it's been 3 months!

I bought a bag of Scotts Turf Builder, sun and shade mix to reseed an area of our lawn that had been heavily walked on in the spring. So for, so GREAT!

I spread this product on my lawn back in late October 2023. I thought it was a little late to apply it, but at the encouragement of a neighbor, I spread it and thought if it didn't work, I'd try again next year. Now it's 3/31/2024 & WOW!! Terrible results...uhghhhh

Not unlike some of the other folks, I purchased and applied as directed, watered consistently and am seeing very sparse results almost 4 weeks later. I am not happy with the way this product has performed. My conclusion is that sometimes you get a good batch and other times you don't...inconsistent at best...not worth the money or time I put in...Will look to other sources!

I read multiple reviews on the Scott's website and box store sites. Seemed like the product either worked or it didn't. I am writing this to relay my experience to help those like me that read all the reviews. I live in Nebraska and we had over 70 inches of snow this winter. Blotchy results at best

I purchased and applied this product (seed + fertilizer + conditioner) Sept 7 to 4 small sunken areas in my yard after filling them with fresh top soil. After watering them every day for weeks, all I have gotten is a few small blotchy areas of grass. The temps have been unseasonably warm in central Iowa too over the past month. I would have thought after getting a product with all 3 essentials plus sowing in fresh top soil that is over 3" deep, it would have produced a thick lawn. Nope! Complete...

This product made my lawn worse.

8 weeks ago we removed all our existing grass,roto tilled our yard raked all dead weeds after we had killed everything in our soil. 3 weeks ago we bought this product applied it along with a layer of one inch quality top soil. Grass started to grow, but half of our yard is Johnson grass! So disappointed, and no out top soil has no seeds as I still have 3 yards so ting on my property and nothing is growing out of it . Great product

It works my lawn is really thick and greener I can’t believe it no more bare spots. Very little watering just liquid sunshine. I definitely use again.

Amazing

I used the product and it produced weeds. I was very disappointed. I researched multiple seed to try to build a thick lawn but this product grew weeds.
