I bought this a few years back and it worked well at charging batteries. The manual is not very easy to understand or follow. I figured out to just hook it up to the battery and ignore it until charged. I could never get the different charging modes to work. Worked good until it wouldn’t power on
Looked like it was built well, other that the clips in the back that the cables wrap around. Went to go use it one day and wouldn’t power on. Figured that for the price it would last me longer than 2 years

Do not trust your battery to this charger.
I bought unit specifically because it was a "smart" charger for AGM batteries. My mistake. I plugged my battery in and after charging overnight, checked my batteries ablitiy to hold a charge. NOT GOOD. I put the charger back on in the 12 charging mode and measured the voltages applied. The charger was applying 15.7 volts to and AGM batter. WAY TO MUCH. I think this battery has been damaged.

DO NOT TRUST THIS CHARGER!
I bought this chater specially for an AGM battery. After charging the batter for several hours, I measured the charging voltages the charger was applying. It was 15.7 volts! That is WAY TOO MUCH voltage for charging an AGM battery. Don't take my word. Read what the manufacturers say. This may well have damaged my very expensive battery.
