Good product at a good price.
Excellent size. I do, however, believe it would be a stretch to believe it will hold 250 cigars easily. I believe 150 would be a full measurement. Quality is great. Very quiet. After a wek of use, it is maintaining temp and humidity level very well with little fluctuation. Used in a climate controlled environment.

Great but some issues.
The humidity display reading is 65, but it's 75+ per my electronic device. You can't lower it below 65 because it's preset as the lowest humidity setting.

Fans are a failure
I purchased in January 2022. The unit ran flawlessly for ~90 days. Then I noticed it would not keep the humidity level up. I opened a case with Schmecke. They did agree to ship new fans which I had to replace. It only too ~1.5 hours to replace both fans. After that, the unit ran well for !60 days. Not the same issue. I can open the door when the unit humidity is low and every time the lower circulation fan is not running. The only way to make it kick in is to lower the unit's temperature. The fa...

Perfect humidifier to maintain perfect cigars
I really wanted to give this a 5 star rating. I bought this to replace a similar humidifier that was thermo-cooled. I have had very bad luck with thermo-coolers and this humidifier was no different. Anyway, this unit is compressor cooled and has a heater. Its much more expensive but so are cigars. I saw the review and some had negative comments about the noise and they were right. Quickly gets to the desired settings and maintains it... been up and going for nearly 2 weeks humidity and temp are unchanged... the only downside is the motor goes all the time and it is a bit noisy.... I may move it to a closet in my basement or to garage which is where I enjoy stogies this time of year.... other than that, good unit...
