Replaced exactly the same lock from the previous owners. It was easy to install and everything works fine. The delivery person actually tucked the box a bit into the corner, so it was not very visible by the door, good job with that thinking!

After installing the door lock, I discovered there was no key with the box. I had to remove the whole locked out of the door and take it back to lowes.I also found the product I received to be used one of the buttons on the keypad were worn out Andy instructions and the lock itself had two different codes to program it.

Triple check when assistants retrieve items
Experience was negative. The 1st lock we bought was during our renovation project extended from July through September. When we went to install that first lock we discovered the deadbolt color did not match the door handle. The Lowe’s assistant retrieved the deadbolt from the locked cabinet and neither he nor us noticed the color was not matte black like the door handle we were also b purchasing at that time. This one’s on me, I should’ve learned my lesson by now: Schlage locks ain’t it. We’ve had several locks in the past that have failed for one reason or another. We ordered this one as a replacement for another similar Schlage lock system (keyless) that had mechanical and electrical failures. The lock was fine. I bought 3 of these last year online from Lowes. I had the guy in the store key them all the same. So, I bought one more online from Lowes. The dude in the store refused to key it the same as the first 3. He made some excuse about me needing to buy it from the store and not online to have it rekeyed.
