Great product but quality diminished
Manufacturing defects and cheaper materials/feel: I purchased this to replace the exact model on my door that had worn finish and a failing spring/joint for the thumb spring. The model I wanted was on-line only, and the first arrived with several noticeable defects in the aged bronze finish (aluminum shows through, flaking off, rough raised bumps). Looks great and easy to install
We were replacing an older similar door knob and dead bolt. I was concerned that the hole at the bottom of the handle wouldn't match. This door handle has a movable slot that can move up and down to fit the existing hole. It fit perfectly. Easier to install than what I had expected.
