The image is a little deceiving
The image makes it look like there is a plain backplate, but both plates for the interior side and the exterior side have a hole. This is for the little pin to make it a privacy door, and I was expecting it to be on one (1) plate only and for the other plate to be plain. But it is on both. And honestly the material feels very cheap. It looks nice, but doesn’t feel great in your hand. It kinda feels like holding an aluminum can, and it feels just slightly thicker than an aluminum can. Great lock for interior doors
Installed this for a client... nice easy install and looks awesome... plus feels very sturdy compared to even a Kwikset lock.
