We have a lot of Samsung appliances items like washer, dryer, cooktop, and this refrigerator. We have had the refrigerator for ~8 years and have had Samsung repair people come to fix the ice maker about once ever 1.5 years for a total of 5 visits so far. Just Terrible!!! Do not buy!
I've had my ice maker "fixed" at least three times in the less than seven years I've owned it. There might have been more repairs, but it's hard to keep track since one repair took over four visits to resolve. Now, the freezer has stopped working, and I've lost all the food inside. Diagnosing the problem has proven difficult, and I've already paid for a repairman to come out, but I'm unsure how much more this will cost. At this point, I may need to purchase a new fridge. It won't be a Samsung.

I'll never buy another Samsung product. The ice maker on this thing is a nightmare. Freezes up constantly despite a recall. Also the bottom left freezer door doesn't always stay closed, ruining frozen items. Never again.
