Glass cracked before I even used the cooktop when it was less than 2 months old and I had not even moved in. Warranty department said it was not covered because it did not happen on installation. It still heats up but What part number do I need to replace it? Range is NE63BB861112AA.

The Samsung Induction range is wonderful in every way the cooktop is excellent and quick. The range sits higher than our previous ranges and cannot be lowered to our countertop height even with the adjusters removed.

very inefficient
This range, both the oven and cooktop, use more electricity than the 30 year old traditional resistance Maytag range we replaced. induction in principle is supposed to be more efficient than traditional resistance burners. You would also think the oven would be more efficient and better insulated than a model before all those high efficiency standards. It works fine, but efficiency was a goal for us. Big let down there.
