Only a few years old. Sucks electric like crazy at minimum settings for food safety. Sounds like a small airplane revving up when it runs, which it almost constantly does, complete with disturbing rattles and hisses. Leaks or collects water in large deli drawer and under this drawer. In short, this fridge is a mess. I am waiting for it to die so I can but something from a more reliable brand. I never buy Samsung, this came with our new house and I can't wait to get rid of it.

We bought this fridge 4 years ago. We have had to replace the temperature sensor in it multiple times (about every 6 months). We have issues with it freezing up and having to pull ice off of the refrigerator shelves. We also have had it spoil food for not keeping temp. The lack of service provided is also a frustration. Unreliable Temperature Readings
After about 4 years, the items in the freezer started thawing out, even though the digital readout was still showing around 0 degrees. I put analog thermometers in the freezer and refrigerator and found that the refrigerator temperature was being reported lower than actual as well. I used a multimeter to verify the RTD's were working correctly, and since they were, I bought a new main control board. Freezer handle busted
Freezer handle the inside mechanism is plastic and snaps off over time . You cannot just buy parts to fix it . Called Samsung and they quoted me almost 500 bucks to ship an entire freezer dooor . I purchased this refrigerator 5 years ago and it has now completely failed. A little after 1 year three door bins broke completely. With in 2 years the fragile cover over pantry items broke.
