Broke down after 3 years

I've only had this refrigerator for 3 years and it's already stopped cooling the refrigerator I'm assuming because the condenser fan burned up. I really don't see the point in spending the money to fix this as there's probably better products out there. I'm aware Samsung had a class action lawsuit for building such crappy products and now I've been a victim of them as well.

Compressor failure in under 4 years.

This Samsung refrigerator model #rf28t5001 is beautiful, has great features, and at 28 cu. ft. is just the right size for our family. Unfortunately it had a castrophic compressor failure at the age of 3 years and 10 months. Fortunately the "sealed components" are covered by a 5 year warranty, but it has been an ordeal. Pretty Disappointing

We have had this fridge just over 2 years. The Ice Maker has never really worked on it. The door bin are Breaking from wear and we honestly dont use them much we put a gallon of milk in and it would dislodge and fall on the floor. The drawer under the fruit and veggie draw constantly comes off track making it difficult to get back in and close. The strip between the fridge doors broke and was a nightmare to find the proper replacement part that wasn't 3rd party. And don't get me started ok the d...

known problems with freezer on samsung

In 2 years since i bought this freezer has stopped working twice. This has cost of hundreds of dollars in spoiled food, luckily i purchased the lowes extended service plan but how much it cost me in wasted food at this point, service techs have even told me there are common problems with these samsung refrigerators, they need to fix it a few times before drastic action like a replacement.

Don't buy! It breaks right after warranty ends!

Would give zero stars if possible - fridge stopped working at 15 months, right after 1 yr warranty ended. This is the second Samsung product to do this this year! Find another brand!

Dumps ice while door open!

Poor design oversight. When you have the bottom freezer door open, the ice maker cycles and dumps the ice in the bottom, behind the open drawer! Could have included a switch to interrupt the process while drawer is open!
