Patch kit
I did not use this product. By the time I got back to it, the hole was too large for this. I will have to replace the whole screen.

Works okay for small holes
We have a small hole in the corner of a window vent screen we needed to cover so dang ol' spiders stopped coming in. I purchased these without much thought, thinking they'd be adhesive like others I'd seen. They are not adhesive - there are "hooks" along the edges that you hook into the mesh of the existing screen and presumably bend the hooks over on the reverse side to secure the patch. I just hooked it on and did not bend the hooks over on the reverse side but it seems to be on there pretty w...

Good for patches
I've had no problem with these patch screens and are very easy to install. They're strong, sturdy, and stay in place. If you're trying to repair an entire screen, the patches are not for you. However, they will be fine until I can get screen professionally replaced.
As expected, not pretty, but it'll do temporarily
Tricky to install. I ended up removing a wire or two on each edge along the hooks to create longer hooks. Then I bent the hooks to 90 degrees using the cardboard of the package to help. It was a little easier to place them in the screen that way and then fold them the rest of the way to secure the patch to the screen. The hooks are pretty fragile, especially when bent, and several broke off but there's plenty and the patch still secured well. The hooks are not perfectly straight, they come pre-b...
Compelling but ridiculous
Seemed like a good idea at the time. Could not get the tiny wires engaged into the screen to be repaired. Very poor design.

Won't stick
Good thing there is 7 in the packet because it took that many tries to get one to stay It has little teeth on the top and bottom of the patch that you are to grab the screen with you can get on side to grab and then when you go to do the other the first one starts to either pull away or the little teeth bend Not very user friendly

It's okay, gotta be a better way though
Expensive patch kit that is harder to use then you might think. It sounds easy to bend the hooks, however you really need 2 people to do it right. 1 person inside holding the patch in place while the 2nd person is on the other side of the screen to bend the hooks. Due to the size of the patches it is hard to use on tears/cuts. How well these will stay in place on a windy/rainy day I don't know yet. If you only have a few small holes and can access both sides of the screen you can do a decent job...
