It's a great product it really does boost the air conditioning and the heat to the third floor

Louvered Register Booster

SUNCOURT booster Equalizer Fan moves plenty of air. Temperture and fan controle work very good. Gave it four stars because the fan is not as quit as i would like.

Fan Powered Vent

The fan does move additional heat into the room as designed. Fan is louder that I expected but tolerable.

It Helps Balance

It takes a few minutes to get the thermostat adjusted right, but it's worth the effort. We had one room that was always hotter/colder than the rest of the house... now it's on par with other rooms.

Register Booster

When I placed this on a register on the main floor it worked very good. However, when I placed it on the register in my bedroom I could not feel any difference in the cooling of my room. This is probably because the register in my room doesn't have a great deal of air pressure so the fan inside the Register Booster wasn't getting enough air to circulate and make it worth while. I returned the Booster only because it wasn't beneficial in my bedroom where I needed it. I would definitely recommend ...

Didn't even last a year before sparking

Used this to try to pull more air into our upstairs bedroom, particularly last summer for the A/C. However, after about 8 months of continuous use, one night, this thing started sparking in the middle of the night and I could smell melting plastic. I immediately unplugged it and threw it away.

Can't go without this product

I have a 2-story condo and the upstairs is not cool enough with just air conditioning, not even with the power vents I have on the roof. I have had one of these for about 6 years and it has started to get a bit noisy, so I purchased another one in case the first one wears out. I now have one in both of my bedrooms and they help tremendously. I recommended them to my nephew, who has a 2-story, five bedroom house and he has them in all bedrooms now. Poor design

We purchased this about 3 years ago. The device does move air provided you can manage to flush mount it to a register. Our need was for our daughter's room which is at the end of the duct work. Her room has a baseboard register and we could not fit this to it without using duct tape. Since that time, other models specifically designed for baseboard registers are now available. Unfortunately, Lowes doesn't carry those. However a simple Google search can find one for you.
