I highly recommend this underlayment. It is easy to use, and cost effective. Coverage is100 square feet (25' x 4'). The fan-fold format of this makes it easy to layout a room quickly. Just unfold the desired length and cut to length, and if needed cut along door frames etc. The grid pattern on the top helps with cutting and layout. Great product - easy to use and work with!

Very happy with this product! I found it very easy to maneuver and install verses the unwieldy large rolls we were stuck with before. The grid lines are convenient when you need to cut and/or align with the adjoining piece and it comes with ready to seam tape pre-attached. I have always used a similar product installing vinyl flooring, so my comments will be in comparison. All underlayment of this type is designed to provide dampening to the flooring to soften the sound of walking on the floor. Most of these products provide a moisture barrier as well. This product checks both boxes, but I feel it is a little thinner than I like. The other brand has a 3 millimeter thickness, this product is half that at 1.5 millimeters. Is thicker actually better? A Nice product !

I got this underlayment to put in a new luxury vinyl plank floor on an old wood floor ! I didn’t have the time to try and restore old wood floor , so I decided I go the route of Luxury Vinyl Plank. It was very easy to install. After installing the second row , it has foldable tape to join sections together. I got two packages and only used 2/3 of each package. I think you would like it too ! I would recommend this product to all !

Low profile and works.

This was used to cover my ugly vinyl floor near the back door. Turned out better than i thought. So my first impression was not very good, thin and looks like the flat packing foam. While installing this underlayment my mind was changed. This is easy to cut to size, maneuver in tight spots and helps keep the noise down. This is not to stop the sounds of walking in boots, but it does muffle it a little. Moving the vinyl over the top was a cinch but it can still tear just cover hole with duct tape...
