Nice floor once it is installed, but ...

Struggled as a DIYer with getting this to lock properly. I think I got it now, but we'll see. Definitely harder than the engineered wood I did last, but it may just be a vinyl thing. Also, there are no official transitions, stair nose, or quarter round BY NAME, but there are lots that are very close and will finish the job nicely. We get lots of compliments and we'll see how it goes in the long run.

Lost the Love; Buyer Beware

Let me start by saying, we laid over 1,000 sf of Smartcore Ultra just a couple of years ago, so we are not newbies to installing this as a DIY. Don't Expose Flooring to Sunlight Apparently!

Had Smartcore Ultra Luxury Vinyl Plank Flooring installed a couple years ago throughout the entire house using the Lowe's Installers. We have a room that is experiencing bowing and buckling failure. Shaw Flooring, the company that manufactures Smartcore for Lowe's, sent out a inspector to see the issues as we wanted to file a warranty claim. Exceptional Quality for a Vinyl Plank

I came across this in my local Lowes after initially looking at laminates. With four dogs, lots of water and traffic, I am glad I noticed this product. The under padding is excellent quality and there are no squeaks, soft spots or shrinking as I have experienced in the past with the laminates. This may have been the easiest flooring I have ever installed, just make sure you lay out all the pieces before starting as there is a LOT of variation in the colorings. BUYER BEWARE! Beautiful color—DEFECTIVE!

Worst Flooring ever!

My flooring is less than 2 years old and completely needs replaced already. There are CHUNKS of the flooring breaking off, even in areas not in the seams. DIning Room, Kitchen, Utility Room....

This product is great! I installed over 42 boxes of it in my house so far and am extremely pleased. I took one of the scraps and dropped it in a glass of water and it remained as in tact as outside of the water. The color is rich and texture is well done and not slippery.
