Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
The flooring product received mixed reviews. Customers found the appearance attractive, with a nice color and grain, and reported it was relatively easy to install. However, many experienced durability issues, with the flooring scratching and damaging easily, even with light use. Some also had problems with the planks not aligning or locking together properly during installation. Overall, the product's lack of scratch resistance and potential installation challenges make it a risky choice, especially for homes with active families or pets.

Laid this two years ago in our dinning room which also goes outside to our lanai. We are now replacing it because all the edges have broken off. It does not do well if laid over concrete, despite directions and putting down a cushioned underlayment. Maybe it holds up better when laid on subfloor but I will not be purchasing again.
Cupping and Separation Issues within year 1-2
I purchased the SMARTCORE Naturals Belmont Birch engineered hardwood flooring from Lowe’s Vidalia, GA store in November 2023 for my newly constructed home, trusting the Shaw brand and the Lowe’s name for long-term quality. Unfortunately, within 2 years, I’ve experienced significant issues that no homeowner expects this soon after installation. After just a few months of normal use in a climate-controlled home, multiple planks began cupping and separating at the ends in several rooms. This is no...

I purchased 68+ boxes of this product to redo a major portion of my current flooring. The challenges come with installing it as the flooring isn't all 48" pieces. It also has 32" and 16" pieces, in fact too many. It's so much harder to install and keep the butt joints away from the next rows joints because they include way too many small pieces in the boxes. The smaller pieces can mostly only be used to start a row and occasionally work elsewhere but with about half the box being small pieces yo...

Terrible floor
Terrible floor, avoid it at all costs. The floor began to lift and crack at the sides after less than 6 months in. Now we have to either do a patch job or replace the floor entirely. Lesson to avoid floating floors like this one.

New home floors
These floors looked nice for the first 6 months. After that we have had multiple floors crack break apart and lift. We used all the proper materials and sub flooring and still have had major issues. I would not recommend this floor. As for waterproofing also had issues with the top coat not lasting through one season.

Floor does not hold up
We purchased the Timber Creek Oak flooring for a new home build. It was installed through out the 1st floor, We were told that it was durable and had a lifespan of 30 years. I seriously doubt that claim. I Immediately noticed that the floor was splitting at the edges and gauges in different areas. Thank goodness it is my husband and I only there are no children and we remove our foot wear upon entering. I am continually using a marker to hide the imperfections so that the light color at ...
