patina does develop
I'm writing this review so you know what the sink can look like with regular use and decent care. i use with the grid and i dont ever leave food making contact with the sink, but i also dont wipe out my sink inbetween uses. i used bar keepers friend to give it a "clean slate" after some ketchup had left a bright spot. This color has developed in about 24 hours. i love my sink... and i dont mind it looking interesting. I just want others to understand what a living finish really means.

Very beautiful well made sink. I sprayed the bottom with 2 cans of Krylon truck liner spray coating for noise reduction from Lowes which helped. The copper is 16 gauge and sturdy. I’ve had it installed a few days now and is staying shiny.
