Your getting less and paying more
Bet you not many people have realized the following. They skimmed off a half gallon so your no longer getting a 5 gallon pail. now it's 4.5 gallons AND YOUR paying more for less product. I guess USG took lessons from the orange juice companies.
Joint compound PLUS 3
Worked well as a finish coat. Sanded OK. 4.5 gallon bucket is great, but would also like to see a smaller BUCKET (2 gallons?) rather than product in a box for small projects.

Sands easy but shrinks more than expected
I purchased 3 buckets and it didn't cover the area estimated. Could be my lack of experience in mudding. The product sands very easy but also shrunk more than expected. I had to go over screw holes a 2nd time which wasn't expected. Overall i would recommend.
