Sturdy and multipurpose

In the meantime, we were using a plank of wood to keep them from being able to be easily opened from the outside but also hold them open because they tend to slowly creep down. I wish it was longer, and the rubber foot had bett

I wish these were longer. And then I could wedge it between my step and my door knob. As it is, I have to put the rubber foot on the linoleum floor and it slides. Rendering this useless.

Does not work as designed

The overall construction of the bar is fine. However, the very essential part, the locking pin, is too LARGE to fit any of the holes besides the very top one, which is meant to house it. For this security bar to function as intended, the locking pin would need to have a smaller diameter, or the holes in the bar would need to be larger. I had to improvise with my own parts to make the bar useful.
