This synthetic rubber compound is made of a combination of ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) and styrene butadiene rubber (SBR) to inherit the strengths of both materials. The addition of styrene rubber gives this elastomer sheeting a high level of physical durability and endurance for use in demanding applications. This EPDM material has a 60A durometer, meaning that it is fairly hard, but still retains reasonable flex and pliability. This hard sheet rubber is the perfect material to be used for commercial and industrial pads and bumpers, among many other possible applications. Our EPDM rubber sheeting is available in eight different gauges ranging from 1/32-in to 1/2-in to fit the needs of any desired application. This 3/8-in sheet rubber is the second thickest option available and works best for highly abrasive physical applications.
