When my forced air unit went out in my home without warning, I ran to the store and purchased what seem to be a powerful air conditioner off the floor. We live in the south so for cooling it’s adequate although the problem is the water tank is very small and needs to be emptied too often unless alternative drainage is rigged up, because it’s summer we haven’t tried the heating function.

Nice machine But
We have a 800 sqft room I knew this would be hard on it but it cools fine no trouble with size or how much noise it puts out. The downs side to me is the window kit the space between the hole and the part that sits in window there’s not enough there so the kit kinda hangs in window not a tight fit. The exhaust hose connection in back I still don’t know if I have it correct it don’t leak any exhaust so I’m assuming it is. Installation guid is awful no help and nothing found on YouTube. Tremendous heater
This piece of garbage is not an air conditioner at all, it is a space heater. We bought this to use if we have any power failures and lose our central a/c. Our central a/c went down today so I set it up and turned it on while we waited for the A/C repairman. It immediately started blowing hot air and we figured it needed to run a little bit to get cool. Talk about mistakes, within 5 minutes the room we set this up in went from 78 degrees to 91. I can't return it it fast enough.

Don't buy it
Arrived packaged well but it was clearly used prior to my receiving it. I still assembled it and found the hose connection leaked hot air and was poorly designed. This explained why there was tape residue all over it as someone must have had the same experience. This was a waste of time for me so I do not recent it.

Extremely disappointed in this unit! My house is 900sq ft on first floor. Closing bedroom and bathroom doors this unit only cools my living room. I love this unit! It has cooled down my addition that is about 850 square feet with no problem! I have had it for a little over 2 months with no issues! A bit noisy but i can deal with the noise I CANT DEAL WITH THE HEAT!!!
