The polyurethane material used in its insole is known for its cushioning while not bottoming-out features. Some open-celled foams feel very comfortable to the initial touch, but tend to break down faster than a product made with polyurethane. Plus, it is extra thick in the heel contact area. This provides additional underfoot comfort to the wearer.These oxfords also have a non-metallic stabilizer and a RigiTrac™ outsole provides traction and resists oils and slips. The shoes are made of full-grain black leather that's water resistant and lightweight, black 1000-Denier nylon that resists scuffs and abrasions.

Comfortable

Great for bad weather

These Rocky Alpha Force Oxford shoes are excellent for western New York. We get a lot of rain and snow. These shoes grip the ground really well and last for a long time. I'm on my fourth pair but it's been over ten years. Use my new pair at my job, old pair as work shoes for odd jobs.

Right on it aren't you? I bought these in 2022, 3 years ago. That being said the lining wore out pretty quick and left blisters on my feet. I hardly wear them.
