Good smooth and slow closing hinges

So far so good. The HD hinges did not work. I bought these and they work as my others did. My issue with my doors is the adjacent cabinet is very close. These hinges don’t encroach on the other cabinet (maybe 1/8th of an inch;the ones from HD almost 3/16th). They close smoothly and ‘slow’. The ones from HD made noises like something was grinding. These are silent. Direct replacement of my old ones.

works great, easy install

easy to install with a single screwdriver, i was able to replace existing hardware exactly with these (i consulted the specs ahead of buying these), they work exactly as described. i do think they're rather pricey for the scale that would be needed, so i only got a few to try these out. i might try finding a cheaper alternative.

Check the mounting screws

I bought 4 hinges to replace two sets that had corroded under the sink. they installed fine and work as good as the ones they were replacing. I purchased 4 of the same hinges, same barcode but somehow two packs had Phillips screws and the other two packs required a square bit to install!

Does the job

Bought a pair to replace 2 failed soft close latches on my most often used cupboard. Seeing the speed with which these compress makes me realize the level of deterioration in my other old soft close latches, some which are near failure.

No more banging

These soft close hinges replaced ten year old standard 35 mm hinges on a custom medicine cabinet as you can see the door is a full mirror and quite heavy. There were only two hinges on this cabinet originally i added a center hinge to reduce the load on the top hinge. These hinges will rapid close to about a 15 degree angle then soft closes with out even a lite thump really remarkable.

make sure you measure the hinge length properly.

These cabinet hinges were a perfect fit/replacement for the originals that were 29 years old. Our cabinet doors close properly and stay closed. They are excellent replacements. I did not have to make any adjustments, just replace the old hinges with the new.

Blum Hinges

This company apparently makes or packages Blum hinges. They are or were the best of the European style hinges. This is for a "full " overlay for a cabinet with no face frame. If has a soft close feature you can disable. If you have a lot of these to install, I suggest you get the Kreg hinge jig. That really speeds up the process. Lowes does not stock partial overlay models.

An easy DIY project.

Very good product to replace the worn out hinges on the cabinets. The old hinges fit smoother on the cabinet, the new ones are constructed so that they stick up close to 1/2”. But, that shouldn’t be a problem.

Nice, soft closing hinge.

These were so easy to change out. I only needed to use one on each average-sized door. Bigger ones do better with two. I wish they cost a little less, could get pricey if you had many to buy. Online is cheaper but I prefer to buy locally.

Self closing, soft close miracle hinge!

You really don't know what you've got until you get it! These soft close/self closing hinges are great, especially if you have kids! They're a bit on the pricier side, but you just gently give them a push and they close on their own! Saves wear and tear on your cabinets and also your ears! No more slamming shut!
