Great Fencing Product

We're almost finished with our fencing project for our dog. It's about a 1/4 acre area in woods behind our house. We are installing about 475 feet of fencing. This is a very well-made and sturdy product. This particular fencing is designed for horses. We have a large, active dog so we wanted the extra strength of this product. Sturdy fence, do it right the 1st time.

Decided to do the next half of our 5 acres correctly. I bought the less expensive welded wire fencing before, but if a goat, dog, time, whatever puts pressure or climbs on the weak tack welds, the whole wire string becomes weak & starts to unravel. Better to do it right with this fence, then go cheaper & have to do it all over again later. Good quality 4' x 100' fence.

As of 2/6/2016 I couldn't find the length of the fence in the description. So until they update this page and for those who care it's 100' long. It's a good strong fence material. The only problem is how long it takes to weave longer lengths together. It would be nice if Lowe's carried 200' or 300' rolls of this stuff.

Works with exceptions

You have to string it tight for goats and for male goats you have to put a second line on top to make it almost 8 foot tall because even my mini goats will jump the first 47in. You can use it for meat chickens because they don't fly but on the lower portions, you have to worry about foxes and snakes. I still buy it because it is a lot of fencing. Don't know how I got nickname of unhappy and don't know how to change it.

Fence

This is a heavy duty fence. The 12.5 gauge wire is very strong. I bought it to replace farm fence as my dogs and the neighbor's dogs would bite each other through the large 6" X 6" openings. The 2x4" squares make it impossible for them to stick their head through the holes in the wire. I installed it myself but it would have been quicker with 2 people. Red Brand woven fencing

I bought this fencing to create a pen for some goats I have. The woven wire desire is stronger and more supportive on long runs with minimal posts in between. The openings are slightly graduated with biggest being 6"x6". Most of my goats can not fit their heads through the opening. The roll individually is very heavy! Great Garden Fence

Easy to work with, strong, used 4x4 corners, T post in straight sections, tractor to pull tight (could use lawn mower or truck). I put mesh fencing above the metal fencing because we have lots of deer. works great!

Farm Fance

This fence is easy to handle by myself. I have installed approx 1300 ft by myself with T posts and wooden H braces. I had no problems stretching with my tractor. The wire is heavy enough to last for a lifetime.

Good product

I purchased this because it is a durable product that I've used in the past. I just wish the 47" X 300' was readily available, other than online. I settled for the 39" X 300' since it was available in the store.

Durable and easy to install.

This fencing is top notch when coming to live stock pens and pasture fencing. The Smooth red lining in the top of the fence is a nice addition to the fence for when horses push on the top and prevent potential injury to the throat. Recommended this fencing to my neighbor and family friends.
