The day after we stained the fence it rained. A lot of the stain came off the fence. The original wood was exposed. I have to re-stain the fence again.

We redone the outside of our house 8 years ago. A lot of different types of wood from porch, support posts, wood shutters, craftsman wood designs in the eaves and stairs in the back up to our 2nd floor. It has been on for 8 years in the North Alabama sun and elements. Still looks like the day it was applied. Getting ready to do a rather large wooded deck and you guessed it, this will be used. The color we used is the Redwood.

Stained and sealed my new deck flooring using a wide brush with a long broom like screw in handle. 2 coats. 12 by 20 deck took about 1 hour per coat. Second coat takes less time and less stain. Love the results. Natural cedar semi-transparent finish.

Accountability

This shipment routing was completely unacceptable. It was sent from Massachusetts to Ohio, then rerouted to Alabama, and back to Ohio again while being within close proximity of my delivery area the entire time. This reflects poor logistics handling and has caused avoidable delays. I want a detailed explanation of what went wrong and how this will be corrected.

Very easy to brush on my wood fences and gates; I refresh them every year or two and I believe this really helps the longevity! Price went up about $50 but since that was a while ago, I figure it's just the usual price hike because of the times.

Great product that I have used for years!

I have been using this product for years in the same color, natural cedar. It always turns out beautiful, nice and rich. The color goes on super dark and rich, but does fade a bit throughout the summer from the sun baking on it continuously. My deck that I use this on is full sun all day in the TN heat until late evening. It is easy to apply, and it really is goof proof. The only "flaw" is that it stays a little oily after drying. Wrong Color Label :(

I got a can of "Natural / Light Oak and it came out Mahogany/Dark Walnut which is many many shades darker than I wanted. It took me three days to prep my wood beams and I was looking forward to a great finish. Very disappointing. It went on dark but many people say these stains lighten up so I decided to trust the process. I wish I hadn't. I also think this is just motor oil. The reason I didn't go the DIY motor oil stain route is because I want to make sure the color came out correct. Sigh....
