For additional privacy or neutral backing, you can attach a fabric privacy liner to the back side of natural shades. Another option for additional privacy is to outside mount natural shades, then inside mount an inexpensive white black out roller blind.

cords break
I love the look of this shade but it has broken twice. The strings/cords that allow it to be easy to adjust must not be strong enoough. Unfortunately, I have a room with 6 of them. I'm considering replacing all of them.

Great Purchase
These were exactly what was looking for. They arrived to my local Lowe's store very quickly, and they were SUPER easy to install. I will say that I used my own screws just because I always do that, I don't typically use what is provided when I buy something like this. They provide privacy at night, but as much or as little light during the day as I want. They look great, they're very high quality and I would absolutely recommend these to anyone and would definitely purchase again.
