What Customers Are Saying

Customers overwhelmingly praise this cooler for exceptional ice retention, keeping ice four to seven days even in extreme heat, and durable construction with thick walls and reinforced latches. Many highlight the lightweight yet sturdy build, and most value the included divider and basket for organization. A small number report drain plug leaks or note the weight when fully loaded, though these concerns are far outweighed by widespread satisfaction. Overall, reviewers consider it an outstanding choice for camping, boating, and extended trips.

Better than 40-year old Coleman

Took our new 52-quart Ultralight for a 10-day trip. The cooler kept food colder better than our old Coleman - just had to add ice a bit more frequently than expected.

About my new cooler

I like the cooler but I was supposed to get a free drinking mug I didn’t not get, also I wish I would’ve gotten the cooler W/wheels as it’s heavy & hard to move around for me. I do love that it keeps my food items frozen longer than most coolers, that is great! Thank you, Brenda Ewy

Very happy

The only thing about the cooler is I would like the lid straps to latch more securely. Other than that it is awesome.

Outstanding Cooler for the price

The cooler is outstanding. Went on a 2 night three day camping trip and the ice I packed the day I left was still in very good condition when I came back home, some ice was still in chunks. Great ice retention and the center freezable divider is great also. Highly recommend this cooler. Thank you RTIC on a great product at a good price.

Not what I expected

Love the look of this cooler and it really does keep things cold, but there are a few things that make me regret the purchase. First of all, opening it up I spotted a warning that hot surfaces, like a truck bed or boat deck can melt the cooler. WHAT? What’s the point of a cooler you can’t take with you without fear of it melting? Second, I knew it would be heavy, but they recommend filling it with ice, not ice packs. It literally becomes unmanageable for a single person if you do that. I can ...

Very nice coolers

I’m a professional guide fisherman so my equipment takes a a lot of abuse. These coolers are rugged. They hold Ice very well during long hot Offshore days. I really like that there very light compared to similar coolers and easy to handle. . I’ve tried most of the name brand coolers and so far this is by far my favorite. . thanks for a great product
